Some encounters stay with you for a lifetime, no matter how momentary they may be. I was greeted by Gobinda's warm smile after a steep morning climb on the Annapurna circuit, as she welcomed me into Ghyaru with tea. There are few faces that I have found so striking, and hers spoke of a story that I was immediately curious to know. This was a story of a remarkable soul, living her life in the aura of some of the world's most majestic mountains. This was a story which needed no words to be told.
